Softcare FM Manufacturing Partners with Ministry of Health to Bolster Nursing Research and Child Healthcare

This commitment was highlighted during the 7th Annual Nursing and Midwifery Leaders and Managers Conference, where Deputy Health Minister Professor Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah underscored the critical need to bridge the gap between academic research, government policy, and clinical practice to enhance the nation's healthcare delivery. The partnership is strategically aligned with the government's Free Primary Healthcare program, which seeks to decentralize health services and make them more accessible to the general public. By focusing on research-driven nursing and midwifery, the Ministry aims to empower healthcare professionals to implement evidence-based practices that directly address local community needs. In addition to its research support, Softcare introduced two major initiatives during the conference: the Allround Pull-Up Pants and the Allround Scientific Parenting Academy. The new diaper product is notable for being the first locally manufactured pull-up diaper in Ghana, designed specifically for infant safety and parental convenience. Complementing this product, the Scientific Parenting Academy is a year-long educational program designed to equip parents with specialized knowledge to improve child health outcomes and foster better developmental practices at home. Medical experts at the conference noted that these private-sector initiatives play a vital role in strengthening primary healthcare.
