Czech Ambassador Pavel Bílek Launches National Project to Bolster Ghana’s Cybersecurity Through Media Training

The Czech Republic has reaffirmed its strategic partnership with Ghana by launching the National Community Media Cyber Capability Building Project in Accra. This initiative is designed to enhance Ghana's digital resilience through significant investments in cybersecurity and media development. Speaking at the launch, Czech Ambassador Pavel Bílek emphasized that a secure digital environment is essential for national stability and that the Czech Republic remains committed to providing the expertise and resources necessary to empower local stakeholders in the face of evolving digital threats.

The core of the project focuses on the pivotal role of journalists, particularly those within community media organizations, as frontline educators of the public. Ambassador Bílek highlighted that community radio stations remain among the most trusted sources of information for many Ghanaians.
