The Beverage Consumers and Bar Owners Association of Ghana has unveiled a controversial ranking that identifies Radio Drive Time hosts as the most frequent alcohol consumers in the country. Following closely are police officers, drivers, and politicians. Association President Moses Onyah, during a recent interview, highlighted the importance of responsible drinking, particularly during the festive season. He urged consumers to choose FDA-approved beverages and announced plans for a bar tour aimed at promoting safe drinking practices. Furthermore, the Association called on the government to provide safety resources, such as reflectors and helmets, for individuals who consume alcohol. Onyah also recommended that police assist in transporting intoxicated individuals to ensure their safety. This initiative comes at a time when the Association seeks to address the growing concerns surrounding alcohol consumption and public safety in Ghana.
