The incident, which occurred on December 23, 2025, led to the arrest of two staff members, Benedicta Nyamadi and Rahel Kyeremateng, who are accused of stealing significant amounts of food intended for students. Dr. Apaak urged the public to assist police investigations into the matter, emphasizing that such actions undermine national interests and the welfare of students. He reiterated the Ghana Education Service's commitment to a thorough investigation and a zero-tolerance policy towards any misconduct that affects student welfare, highlighting the importance of accountability in the education sector.
