Wanted Thief Arrested at Diaspora Summit 2025 in Accra

In a significant police operation, Reagan Kwesi Egbi Addo, also known as Morgan Addo, was apprehended during the Diaspora Summit 2025 held at the Accra International Conference Centre. The Accra Central Division Police had heightened surveillance at the event due to a series of theft complaints, leading to the capture of the wanted thief, who was attempting to blend in as a legitimate participant. Upon his arrest, police discovered eight stolen ATM cards belonging to various individuals. Following the arrest, authorities conducted a search of Addo's residence, where the stolen cards were recovered. The police are currently collaborating with banks to identify and contact the card owners as part of their ongoing investigation into the thefts.
