Tragic Boat Accident Claims Lives of Valencia CF Coach Fernando Martín and Three Children

Valencia CF has confirmed the heartbreaking news of the death of Fernando Martín, coach of Valencia CF Femenino B, along with three of his children, in a tragic boating accident in Indonesia. The incident occurred on December 26, 2025, when their ferry sank in the Padar Island Strait due to severe weather conditions. Out of the 11 people aboard, only seven survived, including Martín's wife and daughter. Recovery efforts for the bodies are currently underway, while the area has been closed to tourists due to hazardous conditions. Valencia CF expressed its deepest condolences to Martín's family and friends during this difficult time.
