Regan Kwesi Egbe Addo, a student, has been charged with stealing a total of GH¢24,849 from two customers using fraudulent means at GCB Bank ATMs. The Dansoman Circuit Court heard that Addo, who allegedly posed as a bank staff member, deceived a customer on September 17, 2025, to withdraw GH¢14,949 from various locations. In a second incident on December 23, 2025, he withdrew GH¢9,900 from another victim's account using a similar tactic. Addo pleaded not guilty to two counts of theft. The court has granted him bail and scheduled a case management conference for March 11, 2026, directing the prosecution to file witness statements prior to the next hearing.
