Presbyterian Church of Ghana Inaugurates Awoshie District to Foster Growth and Community Engagement

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) has officially inaugurated the Awoshie District, marking it as the 22nd district within the Ga West Presbytery and the 390th nationwide. This new district, carved from the Kwashieman District, aims to enhance church administration and promote growth by improving leadership accessibility and community engagement. The Zion Congregation has been designated as the district office, which will also encompass five other congregations and a preaching point.

Reverend Beatrice Ansah Kwakye has been appointed as the first District Minister, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among church members for future development. During the inauguration ceremony, church leaders, including Reverend Enoch Adjei Pobee, highlighted the need for integrity and ethical living among Christians, reinforcing the district's mission to foster a godly community. The event was well-attended by various church officials and community members, reflecting a strong commitment to the church's growth and mission.
