Funeral Arrangements Announced for Jones Korku Abdallah and Lady Theresa Henrietta Edusei

The families and traditional authorities of the late Jones Korku Abdallah and Lady Theresa Henrietta Edusei have officially announced the funeral arrangements for the two departed individuals, scheduled for June 2026. In a separate announcement, the chiefs and elders of the Asante Asokore Traditional Area have detailed the home-going transition for Lady Theresa Henrietta Edusei, known to many as Aunty Theresa. Her final journey will commence on June 20, 2026, with a lying-in-repose and a requiem mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Funeral rites will be performed on the same day to honor her contributions to the traditional area. A thanksgiving mass will subsequently be held on June 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, providing an opportunity for the community to offer prayers and gratitude for her life.
