The Kow Nyarko Nguanoa Anona Family has formally announced the peaceful transition of Mr. Isaac Baah Ashun, who passed away at the age of 90. The announcement, delivered by Ebusuapanyin Mr. J.O. Abraham, marks the celebration of a life that spanned nine decades. As a respected elder, Mr. Ashun’s passing is a significant moment for his family and the wider community, who are now preparing to honor his long-standing legacy and contributions through a series of scheduled services.
The funeral ceremonies are set to take place on September 24, 2026, at the Christ The King Catholic Church. The day will begin with a pre-burial file past at 7:00 am, providing an opportunity for friends and sympathizers to pay their final respects in person. This will be followed by a burial mass at 9:00 am, where the community will gather to offer prayers and celebrate Mr. Ashun's spiritual journey. These services underscore the central role that his faith played throughout his ninety years of life.
Following the church service, a private burial will be conducted for the late Mr. Ashun by his immediate family. The final funeral rites will then be held at the Christ The King Parish Hall, where guests are invited to join the Anona family for a communal gathering. In observance of traditional mourning practices, the family has requested a black dress code for all attendees. The invitation is extended to all friends and well-wishers to support the family during this period of mourning and remembrance.
