Security Agencies in Ho Conduct Route March to Ensure Safety During Festive Season

In Ho, Volta Region, security agencies staged a joint route march on December 24, 2025, to demonstrate their preparedness for the upcoming Christmas and New Year festivities. This initiative aims to enhance public confidence and deter criminal activities, which typically rise during this busy period of increased movement and social gatherings. Commodore James Adongo Agambire underscored the necessity of visible and ready security personnel in maintaining safety. The exercise received support from regional officials, including the Volta Regional Minister, who praised the collaboration among agencies and urged the public to cooperate with security forces. Additionally, the Ghana National Fire Service reaffirmed its commitment to effectively respond to emergencies and encouraged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities during the festive season.
