Ghana Police Arrest Members of Notorious Highway Robbery Gang Linked to Multiple Attacks

The gang's criminal activities began on November 29, 2025, with an assault on a residence in Peduase, where they stole valuables such as cash and multiple iPhones. On January 6, 2026, police apprehended key suspect Kofi Ishmael, who identified Kwame Bediako as the gang's ringleader. Both suspects have been interrogated, revealing the identities of several accomplices involved in ongoing robbery plans targeting international truck drivers along major highways in Ghana.
