Ghana Police Arrest Josiah Elorm Kwame Amezado for Counterfeit Currency and Firearm Possession

The Ghana Police Service has arrested Josiah Elorm Kwame Amezado in Ablekuma, Greater Accra Region, for allegedly possessing counterfeit foreign currency and an unlicensed firearm. The arrest was made following intelligence reports regarding Amezado's involvement in criminal activities, identified as a self-styled fetish priest. A search of his residence uncovered a significant quantity of counterfeit US dollar notes, a Kuzey A100 blank pistol, ammunition, and other items including handcuffs. The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue into the authenticity of the currency and the circumstances surrounding the firearm's possession.
