Ghana's Ambassador Advocates Youth Employment as Key to National Security and Economic Growth

Victor Emmanuel Smith, Ghana’s Ambassador to the U.S., has called for the prioritization of youth employment as a crucial national security strategy. Speaking at an economic summit in Pennsylvania with Senator Scott Martin, he highlighted the pressing need to create job opportunities domestically to combat the adverse effects of the U.S. immigration system on young Ghanaians. The ambassador also discussed the importance of achieving food sovereignty, particularly by reducing reliance on rice imports through enhanced agricultural practices.
