Fetish Priest Arrested in Ablekuma for Counterfeit Currency and Firearm Possession

The Ghana Police Service has arrested Josiah Elorm Kwame Amezado, a self-styled fetish priest, in Ablekuma, Greater Accra Region, for possessing suspected counterfeit U.S. dollar bills and an unauthorized firearm. The arrest was made following intelligence reports regarding Amezado's alleged involvement in criminal activities. During a search of his residence, police discovered counterfeit $100 bills, a Kuzey A100 blank pistol, 58 rounds of blank ammunition, and other items including handcuffs and a black vest. The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue to verify the authenticity of the currency and the circumstances surrounding the firearm's possession.
