The Electoral Commission (EC) has officially confirmed its preparedness for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primary scheduled for January 31. According to Fred Tetteh, the Deputy Director of Research at the EC, all necessary logistical and administrative arrangements have been finalized to ensure a smooth electoral process. Key preparations include the completion of ballot paper printing, which was conducted under strict supervision to maintain integrity. Distribution of election materials is set to commence on January 27, with materials being sent to regional capitals before reaching constituency centers. The EC has also secured custody of the ballots and the voter album for delegates, reinforcing its commitment to a credible election.
