Residents of Djorkpo Abuvienu in the Shai-Osudoku District are urgently appealing for assistance to complete a stalled Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound. This health facility, initiated through communal efforts, has faced significant delays due to a lack of funding and materials. The incomplete facility poses serious health risks to the community, particularly affecting vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, children, and the elderly, who are forced to travel long distances to access healthcare, often reaching Battor Catholic Hospital. Local leaders emphasize the critical need for the completion of this facility to ensure essential healthcare services are available to the community. Appeals for support have been directed towards government officials, non-governmental organizations, and the public, highlighting the urgent need for action to address this pressing health concern.
