In a tragic incident that has left the Datsiedu-Ziope community in mourning, 90-year-old Christopher Agboka, also known as Gbagbladza, was allegedly murdered by 32-year-old Edem Kpotsodzi on January 6, 2023. The confrontation arose when Agboka confronted Kpotsodzi for plucking unripe coconuts from his farm. In retaliation, Kpotsodzi returned with a knife and fatally stabbed Agboka multiple times, resulting in severe injuries that led to his death. After fleeing the scene, Kpotsodzi was apprehended by the police and is currently in custody as investigations continue. The incident has sparked outrage and sorrow within the Agortime-Ziope District, highlighting issues of community violence and conflict over property rights.
