Bicycle Repairer Sentenced to 18 Years for Sexual Abuse of Three Siblings in Ashanti Region

Benjamin Kwabena, a bicycle repairer known as Wofa Atta, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for the sexual abuse of three siblings in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region. The sentence was handed down by Judge Isaac Apeatu following a thorough investigation that revealed Kwabena had exploited his friendship with the children's mother to gain access to the victims. The abuse involved multiple incidents with an 11-year-old boy and two four-year-old twins. The case came to light when one of the twins warned her brother against following Kwabena, prompting their mother to report the matter to the police. The community has expressed relief and support for the conviction, viewing it as a significant step towards justice for the victims.
