Wanted Thief Arrested at Diaspora Summit 2025 in Accra

The Accra Central Division Police made a significant arrest during the Diaspora Summit 2025 at the Accra International Conference Centre, apprehending Reagan Kwesi Egbi Addo, also known as Morgan Addo, a wanted serial thief. The police had heightened surveillance at the event following multiple theft complaints, leading to Addo's capture while he was masquerading as a legitimate participant. Upon his arrest, authorities discovered eight stolen ATM cards belonging to various individuals. A subsequent search of his residence yielded the cards, prompting the police to collaborate with banks to identify and trace the rightful owners as investigations continue.
